Tip of the week
Spend time mapping out detailed costs at the start. We would probably spend more time with a quantity surveyor when we build again. Many modern devices on the face of it don’t look as though they are that expensive, but when woven into the fabric of the house during the build they can often have an effect on other trades, adding extra cost to the project.
